Question on Jones Beach...

As a Great Woods regular, I just got a little worried when I read a disclaimer on the Jones Beach venue website saying alcoholic beverages are not allowed in the parking lot. Is this going to be my first dry Buffett concert? Should I pack the RV with Sunny D? Also, anyone have an ideas for some games that we could stage in the parking lot? There are some creative ones out there so I wasn't sure if anyone had some good ideas.

I would love to know any information about Jones Beach. I have been to 19 concerts but never at Jones Beach. How is the venue and seats?

I saw Jimmy at Jones Beach in 02. Don't worry you can drink all you want in the parking lot, just pour it in to plastic cups and don't act like a drunken fool (I know sometimes that's hard). The only thing that stinks is that there is no alcohol served in the venue, just make suer you bring in some nips

The saets and the veiw are the best of any show I have ever been to. The amphitheatre is all open seating no overhead cover and no lawn. The rows incline so there is no really bad seat in the house. The ocean is directly behid the stage which makes for a very nice back drop, never mind the people who try to swim for the stage.

Martina McBride & Alan jackson are in CT right after the Jones Beach show...so they are a possibility...I'm hoping that they show up at fenway!!!!!
