Neither have the Badgers. Believe me, if they had the same record vs. the same opponents, but instead wore the words "Ohio State" or "Michigan" on their uniforms, they'd be ranked #1 or #2. Not #7.ragtopW wrote:the diff is Boise has gotten no love in the past.CaptainP wrote:I'm with you on the Boise St. and Utah bandwagons, but my Badgers are still unbeaten.ragtopW wrote:I kinda knew the 'Canes would lose they have been playing likeCaptainP wrote:Florida, Florida State and Miami all lose on the same day. Go Boise!!!!
I would love to see Boise play on NYD even a loss would
bring massive prospects.

Gotta agree with you on that. Those "western schools" in the Big T(elev)en do not get near the attention they deserve. If Minnesota were undefeated and smacking their opponents like an angry stepmother, it wouldn't get them into the top 5 either.CaptainP wrote:Neither have the Badgers. And don't get me started about coverage on 1-AA schools, even with the # of national contenders in the OH/PA/WV area there is no coverage unless they come in to be abused by OSU

Go Boise State Broncos!!
I am not hating on my 'Dogs (They do tend to rise to the occasion when playing "Big" name schools. They just s*** when playing in conference)
It's just that I am dying to see this BC$ crap go away. We need schools like Boise, Utah, Louisville, etc. to perform well and finally do away with that crackpot notion that just because a school is in a BC$ conference, the little guys should lay down for 'em. With that said, I am still pulling for the 'Dogs this weekend, but should they lose...Go Broncos! Fiesta Bowl here they come!
p.s. Anyway we can lure Hawkins to Fresno? It's really not that bad a place!![]()
When He took the job his wife and kids said they were gonna finish school
in Boise if Dan wanted another job they would miss him.![]()
Plus, Fresno is a hole. Hawk would never move down.

Nothing like a night game! Thursday night G-Tech was lookin' good......then all of a sudden a couple of blown coverages later and V-Tech was lookin' in their rear view mirror to get the "W". Grant Field was definitely hopping...lots of Hokie fans there. Went to the Varsity for Pre-game meal and place across the street....can't remember the little joints name... for Pre-game brewski.
The Cocktail party lived up to the hype. Dawgs were rolling and were about to put it away when Greene fumbled at the goal line. Gave the Gators new life and they took advantage.....Dawg fans were very cautious that second half but Greene was flawless and the sea of red celebrated with tons of passion in my corner of the end zone!
By the way, thanks again Shark for the AirTran drink coupons.....and they did have Corona!!!
Can't wait to start planning next seasons roadie!!

From 1999 to 2001 Helix High School in East County San Diego lost only 1 game. Of course their Running back was USC's Reggie Bush and the QB was Utah's Alex Smith. Once again...San Diego county is providing football players for the entire country....now if only SDSU would keep these studs

And the new BCS poll is out.
The unbeaten teams are ranked: 1, 2, 3, 5, 6, and 12.
How the heck did California climb up to number 4?????
Why doesn't the BCS care about the most important stat: Won/Loss record?
(By the way, I know that Cal's only loss is to USC. I don't care. Are you going to tell me that a team that has already proven they can't beat USC is more qualified to play USC for the Championship than an unbeaten team???)

B/C #3 and #5 lost, San Diego State was beating Utah in the second half, and Wisconsin didn't play.CaptainP wrote:How the heck did California climb up to number 4?????
Probably the same reason a team that is 9-0 is ranked behind two teams that are 8-0.CaptainP wrote:Why doesn't the BCS care about the most important stat: Won/Loss record?
Well until this week's rankings, UGA was higher than UT even though UT beat UGA in Athens.CaptainP wrote:Are you going to tell me that a team that has already proven they can't beat USC is more qualified to play USC for the Championship than an unbeaten team???)
Does any of it ever make sense?

and the fact that someone thought it was safe with a 17 point lead with 8 minutes to go, to let a 5'9 conerback(who was a running back last year) cover a 6'5 all american wide reciever alone with no safety helpPHBeerman wrote:That is because Satan coaches the Spartans.Dr.Corona wrote:Michigan 45 Moo U 37 !!!
