They just overlooked them. They thought if they could come back to beat Miami, then Duke woul be a pushover. But those are the teams you need to look out for.

I agree. I think they were looking ahead to USC (the one here in S.C., not the real one out in CA) and assuming Duke would be an easy win. It was like watching a train wreck.....it was horrible and ugly and painful to watch, but I could not look away.....

Double OT against an unranked team never looks good. But at least they won.

true and that is what I think also But they won and the start time would
have thrown me off they usually start 7 PM.. MT imagine going into work
like 9 hours early.

Ummm, yeah... its AU (Auburn University). UA would be the University of Alabama.

People don't realize...the Badgers HELPED their chances in the BS, I mean BCS.....
All season long, the Badgers win a game, yet teams with one loss kept moving past them in the BCS poll....now that they have one loss, they should move UP!!!!!!!!!

Those m'er f'ers change it every year. And every year they find out a different reason that it is stoopid.

Please keep in mind that my predictions were based completely on wanting to see the BCS screw up again. It was more hope than prediction.

Well, the NU/OU game certainly could've been a lot worse. Jason White should definitely win the Heisman again. Talentwise, Nebraska just isn't even in the same league with Oklahoma right now. Callahan's playcalling was suspect, but I have to say I was pleasantly surprised with how hard the Huskers played. Even though the game was a mismatch, they kept fighting and playing tough right 'til the end. Hope that carries over to the Colorado game in a couple of weeks. Gotta win that one.
The Oklahoma fans are really starting to sweat Auburn and the BCS. OU is still #2 in it right now, but the margin keeps dwindling. And with only games remaining against Baylor and the winner of the woeful Big 12 North, their schedule isn't doing them any favors. If Auburn can run through the SEC undefeated, I don't know how you could deny them an Orange Bowl shot.

Kudo's to little brother Sparty for taking down the Badgers...

....Now the Wolverines can take aim at Oh How I Hate Ohio State for a berth in the Rose Bowl! Henne & Hart...don't let us down!
Prop's to Tigers/War Eagles/Whatever for the big win over Georgia. Looks to me like if Auburn wins out they deserve a spot in the big game....but....a trip to Bama isn't gonna be easy and the SEC championship game is never a slam dunk. Nonetheless, barring any upsets amongst USC, Okie and Auburn I gotta give it to USC & Auburn.
Melli....what in the world happened to the 'Neers??

That game looked like the Va Tech game all over again. Tough to pin your hopes on getting to a BCS game on Syracuse beating BC but that's what you'll have to do.
Clemson loses to Duke.......are you kidding me!
This time
really Fire T.Bowden .
Longhorn fans.....hope you enjoyed your $15 million gift victory against Kansas. A terrible offensive pass interference call against Kansas kept you alive and a non-call offensive holding on Texas' last possession didn't hurt your cause either to get to that BCS game. That said....Vince Young is smooooth!
GO BLUE!!!!!!!!!!

Not sure if anyone listens to Jim Rome, but Indiana is really taking some for the choke job Saturday against GrandJoePa. Four shots from the one with an excellent tailback and come up empty. As an IU fan I'm used to sucking at football, but I think it's time to officially get fed up, dump Dinardo and bring in a dude who's last name some people have heard of.

Actually, I dont think TB is going to be in trouble this year. Besides, if they fire him, Clemson will have to shell out a boatload of $$ because of the buyout clause in his contract. So I think he'll have at least one more season. And even though we lost to Duke, the fact that we did beat Miami does help him a lot. If we lose this weekend against the Lamecocks, though, I dunno......he might be in trouble then.
I think we've probably kissed our bowl hopes goodbye. They MIGHT take us in Boise if we win this weekend, but even that is questionable.
GO TIGERS! BEAT USC!

Auburn found that they were better off without the Bowden clan... in the long run.

We kept saying at the end of the game; AU should have scored one more time or not let UGA score. I think that would have made the difference. Oh well, at least AU still has some real games ahead of them.

i don't even want to talk about it!!!
I can't believe how pathetic that game was. We beat BC statistically in yardage, but the defense gave up some easy scores.
The last game is actually Thanksgiving night at Pittsburgh. Haven't decided on whether I'm going or not.
