Boston Red Sox Fans!

Post by LOVEandLUCK »

Yesterday, I was sitting on the couch watching the game. I was thinking, we have been on a roll latly. We lost today but so did the yankees. We have a really good chance at catching up to the Yankees. Last time we won the world series was in 1904. This year is 2004. Do you think this could be our year ? 1904 and 2004! Every 100 years could be our time! :P

While I really do like your thought process, I hate to be the one tell you that the last time we won the World Series was 1918. :-?

There was no World Series in 1904. They had it in 1903, skipped a year, then it became annual in 1905.

come on Boston! and, if the Cubbies ever play again, maybe we can get the wild card and we can still hope for that Cubs-Red Sox World Series (yeah I know, I am dreaming, or hallucinating) but a girl can dream, can't she?)

You know something-I could live with that, because if either team were to win the World Series the world just might come to an end!

1918, man not 1904. yeesh, you may need to study up on your baseball history. I am a Yankees fan though so I am biased :)

So it's been established (quite accurately) that it has not been since 1918, that Beantown has hoisted the WS flag...

Your totally right. I admire anybody that sticks with their team through thick and thin. I can't stand fair weather fans.

I love the YANKEES, but I SUFFER as a JETS fan.
