I just think the scalpers went nuts, and now they can't unload them. Besides that, the season ticket holders are trying to sell the ones they don't want.

not necessarily a "backlash" ... but I do think the fact that it's in the heart of boston, which can make it a logistical nightmare for lots of people... who don't want (or can't) spend the $$ on tickets AND hotel rooms AND high priced alcohol at the bars.... Pretty sad... but hey, I'll be there!!!
ticket brokers have to be taken a beating the people on ebay may recoup some of there moneybut they will lose. they probably didn't anticipate tickets being returned for resale or/and some people are disappointed it's in a stadium. hey ,,i would rather be at greatwoods , but this is a once in a life time event hopefully.i was looking for tickets,i got them from tm today section A1 i'll be on the famed fenway field , about where trot stands ( when healthy).so i'll be there friday
