while i was trying to get thru on line
wife got in line at ticket master in tampa.
she was the onlyone there for jimmy in lakewood everyone else was there for santana tickets so they let her in front and we're gonna be up front in atlanta this july

captain ray, Congrats my man. front row rocks! I had front row, "dead" center last year in Raleigh. I bought them through Tix Master "in Raleigh" just like everyone else. I've been on the hill for ten years and what a reward. Enjoy my friend! Don't get too drunk, you will want to remember this show for a long time. BTW, I've got third row in Raleigh this year but they are way off to the right. I have some lawn tixs also. I may rejoin the troops back on the grass. A group is always fun. Fins up captain

Calypso- I'm not sure I do anything different than everyone else. Get there early, hope for a good lottery, use the cell phone, etc. We do take a lot of people to the lottery for better chances. Won the lottery last year and second this year. With enough people you usually can get somewhere near the front. Cash only places are better because line moves faster. I am the only one in our annual group that wants close seats if I can get them so that helps. I've been in the seats 2/14 times. This year will be third but I have only tried twice for seats. My first show in 90 was an invite with friends who had tickets in the seats. I'm not counting the Carter Finley show. (man what a day) I guess I kind of like the hill with a big group of friends. Front row was pretty sweet though. Probably will sell seats this year and use lawn tixs I have. I'm sure if I try next year I will miss out on seats. I think I just had two lucky days in line.
