Have fun with it. That's what we did in Chicago!
Of course, the Yankees have asked Buffett to forfeit the show....

Weather Channel forecast is for showers both days with a 30% chance both days.. That's not bad. Of course, it's only Tuesday.
BE PREPARED!!!!

Relax, people! A little rain never hurt........I guess the irony is that the people with the best seats would get wet this time, instead of the people farthest away!

I know that most venues go on rain or shine....but I'm wondering if that will be the case at Fenway. If the field is wet, having thousands of people on it could make it unplayable for weeks. With baseball season still in progress, it does make you wonder what would happen in that case. Anyways...lets hope the bad weather holds off and this question becomes immaterial by the weekend.

my money says there will be some sort of riser system above the field for the field seats...I had 'field' seats at a show 2 years back at Soldier Field, they had all the seats set up on platforms rather than the field itself...I'm sure it will be well covered, rain or shine

So what if the field gets a little wet and torn up? It's not like the Red Sox will be using it for very long.

The shows that go on "rain-or-shine" have a covered stage...
Besides the possible field damage, I would be concerened with a cancellation because of all the electronics involved... Does anyone know if they have plans to erect some type of temporary roof over the performance area in the event of rain?

I dont know about the show but I have been at Fenway for a tour twice now and it rained both time. On the tour they let you walk along the warning track and into the outfield. When it rains they dont let you because they do not want the field to get messed up with the traffic. Makes you wonder how they will protect it from about a thousand fans with field seats

we need to stop getting our panties in a bunch

It's only Tuesday and the forcast is calling for clearing on Friday afternoon with partly cloudy skies. The show will go on

The fans in the sections closest to the stage will get the most wet! I suggest those fans give their tickets to me and my friends and I will exchange them for the ones I have at no charge. That way they can stay dry.
Now go get a life! Relax, there aint a damn thing you can do about so why waste your time???
