VIP 406 Tickets at Fenway

Post by NHPhan »

I cant believe all the open auctions on ebay right now for the 406 VIP club section of Fenway. All auctions are pretty cheap and they all neglect to tell you that in the 406 section you are sitting behind a 6 inch thick plane of glass with sound piped in on a time delay. I would be p*** if I bought them and didnt know that about the ballpark.

My guess would be that they are pretty bad for a concert

what exactly are the SRO seats that are being listed on ticketmaster right now? It says right field roof in the description....does anyone know if these seats would be any good???? Can you see or hear anything or will it be like the 406 seats?

These are SRO in the new Right Field Roof Area. If you are familiar with Fenway they are where the Budweiser sign is.

I am very surprised you can see the stage from there.

SRO - Standing Room Only

Post by MassaDays »

Whoever was asking, but the right field roof is the place to be. Easily the best view of the centerfield stage not to mention easy access to concessions and bathrooms.

I think you are mixing up the rightfield roof seats and the Budweiser rightfield roof. The SRO tixs are for the Budweiser rightfield roof which will offer a not so very good view of the stage since this section faces homeplate.

Stay away from 406

Post by cbutlerhlc »

Yeah, the 406 club is completely glass enclosed. People who sat there for Springsteen last year were furious!!! You are much better off being in the regular park. The sox sell SRO tickets for games during the regular season. There are areas at the top of every section. You have very good sight lines, just no seat.

Linday, you will have great seats. You will have a very good view of center field where the stage is. Binoculars would be a good idea!

Lindsey you are in the right field roof seats not the Budweiser right field roof seats (I know it can be confusing). You actually have really good seats, I'm up there as well but the bar you mentioned is not in this section... that is in the Budweiser section :-?

On WEEI this morning they said the Red Sox were running a charity event (Jimmy Fund?) in the Bud roof section during the Buffett shows. $250 per person or $2,000 for a table for 4! :o Includes the show, food, and drinks.

BTW, WEEI is a sponsor of the avalon/axis parties, but most of their hosts have been ragging on Jimmy all week.
