If you could choose...

Post by LOVEandLUCK »

If you could choose only one song for Jimmy to play at a concert what would it be and why?
Mine would be for him to play Jamaica Farewell. I know this has been
played before but I just think it
would be an awsome song to end each concert with.
I think it would go better at the last concert. For example
in Fenway instead of playing it on 9-10, he would have
played it on 9-12. In the lyrics it says
"I won't be back for many a day"
That would be saying goodbye for now
until next year! :pirate: :D

Tough question. I'll say Dreamsicle.
It was a pleasure and a hell of an evening
Truly was our night to win
But the authorities insist on my leaving
Take care my American friend

Or...... what if you could sit alone with Jimmy, and he would play ONE song for you.....

at a concert, it's not too hard to pick one, because he's going to play all the others, anyway.

but what if you got to hear just ONE song.....?? :o :o

Ummmmmmm........

Tonight I Just Need My Guitar.... (but it's so short a song!)
Stories We Could Tell
CIL CIA
FSOTW
It's My Job
Changing Channels
He Went to Paris
Tin Cup Chalice
When the Coast is Clear
Cowboy in the Jungle
Pirate Looks at Forty
Last Mango in Paris
School Boy Heart

I only get ONE????? :( :( :(

Alrighty then....... For today (and it'll change tomorrow  ), the winner is:

When the Coast is Clear

First Runner Up:

This isn't a JB song, but it is one that he has played live at least twice that I know of. The name of the song is "Blue Telescope" and it's one of the best they've ever done live. I have a feeling that it'll be on a studio album someday soon.

I heard they recorded it for FSOTW but it didn't get put on it. It's probably in a vault somewhere. Great song!

I'd like to hear "I Have Found Me a Home."

That would explain why Jimmy played at the 2002 East Hampton show right before FSOTW came out. Thanks for the input... :P
