I would of appreciated it if you read my previous post, (it was hard to miss because i posted it like 8 times accidentally, in which a few of Bush's policies were outlined. Others on this board of written things backing Bush policies. Don't take the postings of a few and say they are written by all Bush backers, once again another unfair statement. People need to look at both there records and the policies they are proposing for the next 4 years. Take from those who you feel is right and vote for that person. The left has bashed Bush and the right has bashed Kerry, a lot of it is just crap and propaganda. Your post just bashed Bush without giving me a reason to vote for Kerry, any of Kerry's proposals, or anything Kerry has done to garner my vote. Alls you gave was meaningless left wing rhetoric and attempted to use a scare tactic and make us beleive that the whole world is going to hate America if Bush is elected again. Just like the right is goign to say if Kerry is elected the terrorists are going to win and continue attacks on our citizens. These are both poor propaganda tactics, neither should be the reasoning for voting for either candidate untill the facts are veiwed.and this takes this thread full-circle. Bush-leaguers have nothing more to offer for their chimp, er, champion but to go on a full frontal assault on the the challenger. Forget about the message, when you can go kill the messenger. A classic, and proven tactic (Hello? John McCain?)
The current president just finishes speaking to the U.N., a global entity that we once championed, and is met with a resounding silence, no applause whatsoever. He speaks of a march toward freedom and harmony. No applause. He speaks of this not becoming a clash between civilizations (!!) Silence.....
Y'know, you can try to bash Kerry til the sun goes down, but that does not change the fact that you can't simply wrap yourself in the U.S. flag, continually mislead your citizens, pillage your own economy, and expect to receive support from at home or abroad. We have to live in the NOW, we won't be fooled again. Let's deal with the issues, let's move forward...

Just the fact that Kerry is a 20-year senator in standing speaks volumes in itself. Sen. Kerry does not really have to try to present a front using his voting record, because it would be apples vs. oranges to try to compare a U.S. Senator's record of service to a state governor's. Speaking of comparing service records, I don't recall seeing where Bush has signed a 180 either? Regardless of CBS's gaffe with documents, it really does not change of issue of Bush's deriliction of duty. The liuetenant's secretary was pretty clear on the fact that while she did generate the documents, their content was accurate.PHBeerman wrote:This is moving forward. Why is it that Kerry will not speak about his voting record? Why is it that Kerry will not sign form 180? Kerry may represent The Northeast, and Left coast, but he does not represent the rest of our country. These are the issues. Bush's service documents have been released (some are real, some have been manufactured by democratic loyalists) Bush is willing to stand by his leadership record. Kerry wants his 19 years as a senator to be looked passed.Lightning Bolt wrote:..and this takes this thread full-circle. The only thing it speaks volumes of is the mindless-sheep mentality that votes Democratic at all cost in this lunatic stateLightning Bolt wrote:Just the fact that Kerry is a 20-year senator in standing speaks volumes in itself.

By the way, it is my opinion that Dan Rather ought to resign.
