Good for her ! I remember this thread from way back in 2004.....wow, she's come a long way !

her album FINALLY grew on me after many listens and quickly became one that was in my CD player quite a bit, except for Me and Charlie Talkin' which was better done by Bill's sis in law.

I am looking forward to her new album of which the 1st release sounded great.

You have to like a girl who covers John Prine, Fred Eaglesmith, & Buddy Miller. Plus she's really cute.

6 years - wow!

Yeah, they wrote Gunpowder and Lead together, and there are a few more that haven't been released.

I was thinking of this long-ago post last night, also.

Congratulations, Miranda!!!

Well deserved awards. I've seen Miranda in concert 3 times, most recently about 6 weeks ago, and she puts on a helluva show. This was last year at Jones Beach when she opened for Kenny Chesney.

She was the highlight of last night's show ... IMHO ... along with Loretta Lynn!

Miranda is part of the acceptable edge of current commercial country music. If only there were more like her. Or more accurately, an industry that was more willing to take a chance on artists like her instead of sticking to the formulaic crap.
