Mr. Scott - apology accepted and I too apologize to you for any ruffled feathers. When ever we meet, the first one's on me - second on you.

It's good to get the brain working and opinions shared. It's nice to see so many true good hearted Parrot Head friends who can smooth troubled waters - a barrel roll sounds good now (no I'm not going through all this again to see who said what!)

My thanks to all and we will all some day meet. I'll be at MOTM 2001 come hell or high water (well if someone can say "bastard" I can say hell :-}). As I said before I wear a Gillian style hat with dark green flowers on it - so not to hard to spot. If you see me stop and say Hi.

Okay, I just had a ballistic moment, but was looking at another site that had links to ticket agencies, & found some scumbag outfit headquartered in Anaheim California with bunches of tickets to the Houston show. Out of curiosity, looked, and saw that they were apparently selling seats worse than the nosebleeds that were available two minutes in for $170. I'll confess, this p*** me off, and they will be getting the following message from WD (though it's unlikely that they'll do more than delete it, the scum):

You have got to be kidding!!!! $170 each for tickets worse than the nosebleed tickets that were available to those of us who got them through regular means??????????? Section 211 and $170 per?????? It's highway robbery, and you people ought to be put out of business. It's just appalling, and it's no wonder that real parrotheads can't catch a break trying to get decent tickets, as apparently huge sums of them go to scum the likes of you. I would say that I hope you rot in hell with tickets still in hand, but it would be a shame for even BAD tickets to go unused......how do you people sleep at night?

It's very unfortunate, but in California all a "broker" has to do is have a permanent address. Otherwise they will charge whatever they think they can get. If you go to sfx.com and select Buffett in California you are going to see lots of ticket sales that make you absolutely sick.

There is one even more nauseating and - darn I can't remember the site, but there is a JB site where the guy openly promotes ticket scalping and scalps tons of tickets. I'll have to find it.

So you see why a National Ban is necessary. In states where it ticket scalping is banned you can get a reasonably priced ticket. In states where it's not - well they are way out there! in price and place.
