my buddy had to go to traffic court yesterday to argue against his speeding ticket(he lost) but the lady in front of him had the dumbest argument i have heard yet.
she stated that it wasnt her fault that she was speeding.reason being is that she couldnt pay attention to the speedometer due to the fact that she was talking on her cell phone(which is illegal here) and drinking a coffee.
not only did she not beat the speeding ticket,they also added a fine for talking on the cell phone while driving

A friend of mine went to fight a speeding ticket ....

Judge: "Were you speeding?? "

Friend: "Yeah, but ....."

Judge: "Nuff' said ... pay the fine."

That reminds me of when my sister was hit from behind. She slowed down for the construction and of course the stopped cars in front of her. Some idiot was flying down the interstate and rear-ended her. He got out yelling and screaming at her because he was on a very important call.

I guess the guy didn't know that our cousin is a state trooper on that section of the interstate.

Great! Gives me a lot of encouragement... I have to go to court twice on Monday to contest two different tickets.

My advise is to not show up like that .... it didn't work for me when I did it .... and my wife wasn't to happy when I got home either!!
