Chipotle

Post by DeactiveCarib »

does anyone have any Chipotle Mexican Grills near them?

ARE THESE NOT THE GREATEST FAST FOOD RESTAURAUNTS EVER OR WHAT????? I really can't get enough of Chipotle, the Burittos are absolutley amazing. . . . and its unlike any other fast food cuz the restauraunt has a really nice atmosphere, very clean, and everything is very very very fresh. . . .I can't get enough of 'em, and they're popping up all over NE Ohio these days.

And whats so amazing about Chipotle is its owned by McDonalds. . . how crazy is that!?!?!? The quality of Chipotle's food and ingredients is like 100000 times better!!

Chipotle got it's start in Denver before it was bought by McD's. They actually got their inspiration from a burrito joint up in Ft. Collins, CO. Chipotle took the idea, opened up shop in Denver, and sold-out to McD's. Not bad for the days of IPO and go.

But, besides all that. The food ain't bad--ingredients are fresh and they make it in front of you--and it takes 2 sittings to eat a whole burrito. :o (unless you are my husband of course).

We hit Chipotle for a late breakfast the morning after the Washington Area Parrothead Club 4th of July Cruise. It may quite possibly be the perfect hangover food.

And why we're on the subject of chipotle (with a small "c"), has anybody tried the new chipotle flavored tabasco sauce? I am totally hoooked!! I'm putting that stuff on everything!

and at Penzeys.com, (and their stores), the chipotle chili powder makes a very nice addition to hot chocolate.. :D

and there have been Chipotle restaurants here in Columbus for about 5 years. 7 bucks, you have a huge burrito that fills you up for the next 24 hours, a drink, and a warm happy feeling. Not a bad deal.
