Bad luck with concerts

It seems that almost everytime one of my favorite artists comes to town, I'm always out of town. For example, when Jimmy came to Cuyahoga Falls this summer, i was gone

Now, one of my favorite Latin Artists is comming to Columbus, which is a VERY VERY VERY rare thing for a Latin artist to come anywhere north of Miami besides NYC. Well, once again i'll be out of town so thats not gonna happen

Also, another one of my favorite Latin bands came to miami a couple years ago and i was willing to fly down to see them, but once again i was out of town. What bad luck!
Anyone else have bad luck like this when it comes to concerts??

Mostly my bad luck involves not getting tickets for sellout shows.
(Or venues missing out on desirable tours)
Jimmy, please come to Balto.

More than I can count. Most of the time, I have a show to work, the same night as show I want to see. The worst by far, was having to pass on 2nd row and backstage for Peter Gabriel because I had to take another artist to dinner that night. No show. Just dinner. With my job, I meet a lot of performers and one of 5 or so that I would kill to meet is PG. With his work pace, I may get to meet him when he's 70.

Actually Jerry died in 1988...he just didn't fall over 'til 95.
