Do you ever...
...'make' street lights go out?
...see a shooting star, or sea creature, that everyone else misses?
...find unusual objects?
...notice things in the wrong places (e.g., the man at the payphone)?
...find yourself repeating a previous experience?
You might not be alone.

Honorary membership, trial basis only
(leave your date at the door, plz)
(unless
they see weird stuff

)
I see groundhogs... all the time... (there's one -->)
No one else ever notices them until I point them out
I also encounter many empty beer cans, bottles and glasses
Weird, huh...
On the positive side, I always show up just in time to
get a good parking space.

OMG! This one time, at band camp...
Well, not at band camp really, but I was at the grocery store and it was windy. When I was done loading our groceries from the cart into the trunk of my car, the cart started to roll away. It rolled 3 parking rows over and directly in the the cart return without hitting anyone or their car!

Cool, Mal . . . much better than the day the wind blew someone else's abandoned cart into the side of my BRAND NEW Jeep!!!!! (waaaaaaaaaah!)
I pick up the phone and someone is there yet it hasn't rung about three times a month . . .

Since BoozeInTheBlender and I started dating, people have come to us on numerous occasions and told us how happy we look together and how we "radiate"...neither of us have ever had that before....
and we constantly think of calling eachother at the same time...
One night, I got up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom (which I rarely do) and then decided to call Eric......as I picked up the phone at 3 a.m., my phone rang and it was him....he had just gotten up to go to the bathroom (something he rarely does in the middle of the night) and thought he would call me....

Morbid, but true. Within my family, it is unusual deaths. Apparently, we can't just grow old and die, or have tragic auto accidents. It has to be something bizarre. Several of my family members wear helmets in case space junks makes it through the atmosphere. Ok, that's not true, but the unusual death scenario is. Family members from age 3 to 76 have been victims of tragically weird coincidences. It's very scary.

If you are ever to go out to dinner with us, be rest assured that if some sort of foreign object was to wind up in someones food, it would not be yours........ A partial list for me over the years includes someone elses hair embedded inside the meat of a cheeseburger, cigarette ash on top of my blue cheese dressing, finely sliced plastic from bolonga being sliced with out slideing it back, a tin foil butter packet I had know clue was under a salad and then I bit into it without knowing only to feel like I was being electrocuted while chewing on tin foil, a womans/waitress' nail tip fell off & wound up in a bowl of soup............... At least my gaurdian angel watches out for me in other, more serious situations......

I have odd breaking/injuries in my life, that just shouldn't be able to happen in some cases.
*one time, when picking up a cast iron pan, the handle just broke off.
*I once sprained my ankle while standing. I went to shift my weight (there's not THAT much of it!

) and YOUCH!!!! I sprained my ankle.
*Just yesterday, my nose came "that" close to being broken (guess you could say I missed it by a nose!) when I bent down to pick up grocery bags, my 60 pound dog of course had to see what was in them but then something across the yard caught his attention. Next thing I know, his head had slammed into the bottom of my nose. I stood in the back yard paralyzed and crying, wondering whether my nose was bleeding, or broken or what...turns out it's just bruised. Now I know why they teach that as a self-defense technique!
Guess you could say I'm accident prone....

I have an odd knack for finding lost jewelry. I don't know how it happens, but I found a class ring on the beach (from a boardwalk 6 feet above the beach) once, and a bunch of other little stuff.

But isn't it better to find a really long hair in your food than a short one?

I am SO glad you started it off with this one!
I thought I had some sort of weird electromagnetic
field around me or something...

Me too! I also turn them on when I go under them. Light bulbs have a tendency to blow their insides out when I turn them on. Maybe I need to stop turning stuff on.
