I don't have anything to base it on, other than to me it just doesn't look like him. Face isn't round enough. Eyes don't have the Jimmy "sparkle." Just very strong women's intuition. Wish I had more scientific basis for my opinion.....where is Key Lime Lee when we need someone to have an answer for us? ( Love ya, Lee!)

P.S. I couldn't get the pic to post....maybe it's copywrited or some such thang...

Interesting. I wonder how one would go about verifying the authenticity of published photos purportedly (impressed by the big word???) of Mr. Boofay?

well it sure looks like jimmy. could his hair appear darker, because of the dark background? poor lighting perhaps?. if you have a magnifying glass, look closer and see if he has a mole on the right side of his chin.

well, he def. plays a 12 string, cuz i have a live show where he breaks a string in the middle of a song, and at the end says something like...well that was the 11 string version.

I am concluding after very close inspection, that it is Jimmy...... Another piece of the puzzle is that Michael Utley plays/played a Roland D-50 synthesizer that is pictured in the shot......

If I remember correctly from pics of Jimmy as a child that he was not blonde then....

He's been gray/missing in the hair department ever since I became a parrothead.

However one odd thing I noticed about the photo is that he appears to be wearing a wedding ring...I've never seen Jimmy with a wedding ring on....
