I heard that thier basement had about 4ft.

Their basement was completely flooded and the first floor got about 3 feet of water. They lost almost everything and are staying with Doug's mother while they rebuild.
The town they lived in (Palo-about 15 miles N.W. of Cedar Rapids) was pretty much wiped off the map.
But they're both staying upbeat and positive (more than I ever could) and are determined to rebuild and get on with their lives.
My parents are doing well also. Hopefully we'll get them moved back into their house within the next couple months.

I hope to be able to see you & the guys somewhere on the road sometime very soon.
