Buffett songs that reference SYKBH
I'm listening to Barometer soup tonight, and I got to thinking about this during "Don't Chu Know", when Jimmy busts into "Volcano" at the end...
In which Buffett songs does Jimmy reference the 13 songs on the Yellow Album?
Example:
Licence to Chill: "I think I'll go on down to Margaritaville"
Let's see how many we can come up with! I've just mentioned 2.
Have fun.....

"One has to learn havin' fun is just smilin' through those Changes in Latitudes, Changes in Attitudes..."
-Happly Ever After (Now and Then), from Banana Wind.
The song itself and the one it refers to are probably my 2 favorite JB tunes.
And another:
"No plane on Sunday, maybe be one Come Monday..."
-No Plane on Sunday, from Floridays.
Another for Come Monday:
"There's come a lot of Mondays, since that phone booth that first night..."
-Coast of Carolina, from License to Chill
He also does the "I Don't Know" thing at the end of his cover of She's Got You on Fruitcakes.
I believe Margaritaville, Come Monday, Volcano and CILCIA are the only ones he refers to. I don't recall there being any mention of the other 9 in there anywhere.

Thanks...there are dozens of times he does other songs...at the end of Mexico, he refers back to every song on the Barometer Soup album!Gypsy In The Palace wrote:Oops, I didn't read Captain P's original post carefully enough to see that we were talking about times where JB only references SYKBH. I simply was pointing out times where he referenced other songs. Oh, well!

He also says "South of Margaritaville I've been told". Another M'ville reference.CaptainP wrote:Thanks...there are dozens of times he does other songs...at the end of Mexico, he refers back to every song on the Barometer Soup album!Gypsy In The Palace wrote:Oops, I didn't read Captain P's original post carefully enough to see that we were talking about times where JB only references SYKBH.
