I've met Gary a few times. Super nice guy. What a shame.

BULLETIN FROM NEIL HAISLOP'S NASHVILLE REPORTS


Gary Allan's wife, Angela, has died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound, reports Allan's record label.

Gary's wife, Angela Herzberg, died early this morning (Oct. 25) of a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

The death occurred in their home in the Nashville suburb of Hendersonville, where Gary and Angela had moved the family in 2003. Further details of the death are pending.


Allan immediately cancelled a series of tour dates, listed below.

Dates Effected:
10/28 ­ Portland, ME
10/29 ­ Uncasville, CT
10/30 ­ Burgettstown, P

Wow. I'm at a loss of words. I guess it shows that success doesn't always buy happiness. I can't imagine what he must be going through. Didn't they have small children too?

I'm not sure I know who Gary Allan is. But this is very, very sad.

when my wife was going thruogh chemo before the keets were born i would play his song "the one" and slow dance with her around the house.. just to let her know that now matter what happened she was my one :cry:

Not sure who Gary is but I know I have heard His songs..
