Saw Joe Satriani last night at the Palace Theater in Columbus. He is an amazing guitarist and rocked the house for almost 3 hours. The acoustics at the Palace are fantastic. I had great seats (although there is not a bad seat there) and was able to watch his incredible mastery close up, what a treat.
Any guitar enthusiast (rock) should see this man in concert at least once.

Cool. I never knew he was in Greg Kihn's band. I kinda lost track of Satriani after
Surfin' with the Alien but always liked his style.

A little Joe Satriani history lesson...... He grew up a few towns over from me in Carle Place, Long Island and graduated from Carle Place High School I believe in 1974....... He was Steve Vai's guitar teacher, another graduate of Carle Place High School......
