I haven't heard that one yet, but the band 'Big and Rich'
do rock. I love their CD. But no one rocks more than Buffett. I can't wait to see him at MOTM in KW. Wish I could afford to see him in Orlando.

There are no promises that JB will be there. He wasn't last year, but ya never know from year to year.

Blake Shelton was on the local atlanta morning show this week performing the song - 1st time I had heard it. pretty good, but i'm not much of a country fan. the one thing that disappointed me was that when asked about the influence of the song/album he referenced drinking songs by merle haggard...HELLO Mr. Shelton you actually reference Margaritaville in the song but give no props to the man himself! come on!

I love it too. I heard it like three times in one day on Tuesday. Something like "the dentist starts drilling before the Novacaine kicks in, I just think, Some Beach!"

If you were more of a country fan, you'd hear a lot of Merle in there. For that reason, I didn't much care for Blake's capitalizing on the Margaritaville reference, I thought he just worked it in to get more airplay. I give the song a B- mostly because it's sung way too western-twang for the topic - not a lot of beaches from West Texas to Wyoming, pretty much the home territory for that sound.

If I lived somewhere between West Texas and Wyoming, I think I dream of Some Beach Somewhere too.

Don't chu know there are lots of places that fabricate that one particular harbour for people who live there....like Jimmy's CIP locations.

I just watched the video too and I like the song...it's all about escape!

Did anyone notice the major F'up in that video, he sings about a "foreign" car tailgating him but in the video the car is clearly a mustang cobra with the pony symbol riped off, but they left the cobra on the side hahahha dumbass's
