good job nice timing, the songs only been on the airwaves for a month, I think they dropped the ball on this one, people are already over it!

We don't have cable/dish so I probably won't see it until I have enough time at my mom's house to watch CMT long enough for it to come on.

I'm sure they'll post it on CMT's website once it premeires as well...should be able to see it there.

I couldn't disagree more. I think it's perfect timing. Here are a few reasons why.
The single is still moving up the charts, and I think the video will give it a shot in the arm. The video is coming out right after the big CMA performance. If HGL wins vocal event of the year that's going to be huge. This is called striking while the iron is hot.
When you think about the message of the song, it's perfect for this time of year as people are closing out another year. So it didn't happen as soon as we wanted, but I think they were planning this all along.
The article says the video will show Jimmy and Martina at the beach - at the beaches around Charleston SC in fact. That's Jimmy in his habitat and it is a perfect segues for Coast of Carolina.
Bottom line, I think the video will give the song a boost on the charts and open the door for other songs. I can't wait to see what happens next!

And...it is closer to Jimmy's birthday...
I was looking at a faq for Martina's birthdate...it is July 29...
I found out that she has a daughter named Delaney!!

They have two daughters. Emma Justine, was born March 29, 1998. Delaney Katharine was born December 22, 1994. John and the girls almost always travel with Martina when she is on the road. The only exceptions are a few week-day dates during the school year; John stays home with the girls so they don't miss too much school. They catch up with Martina on the weekend.>>>

I have CMT and GAC and I have not seen it on either one or even heard it mentioned.
I agree that the video is a little late. The song was released about a little over a month ago and the video is not out yet. Look at most other artists and the video and song are usually about 2 weeks apart. I started hearing TK's Stays in Mexico and then about 2 weeks later that had the video on CMT.

The least I can do since we're probably the only two ParrotHeads not in Key West. I hear band members have been spotted there and Jimmy is likely to show up too!
