Kind board request…

Post by Parrot Monkey »

Now I now I’m not a moderator, and I’m not “telling” anyone to do anything, but I have a kind favor to ask that I’m sure many will agree with. When quoting a post that already has a quote in it, can everyone PLEASE delete any existing quotes in the post code? I just don’t see the need to have to have boxes on boxes of repeated information all over a thread, as just quoting a single post in your post will alert people to what your referring to. It will most likely allow more posts to be made in a single page and really help the board out in the long run. Please, it’s not hard: :D

Thanks dude... It does tend to get annoying when there are 50 quotes before the message. And it uses up space on site.

I think it's mostly the dumb people like Tom that are the problem.

I usually do once the nesting becomes too big. I ignore it the first few, but then I do if it becomes big, I'll cut down to the last couple relevant posts to what I'm saying.

I think what is being said is that by quoting, people are able to see what was being said prior, that led to your comment. Does that sound right?
