Of course its broad generalizations, but I'm attempting to understand it...

Perhaps you can help me understand how large numbers of people would vote for a President who lies to them... other than broad generalizations, I don't have a good explanation.
all presidents have lied... they all promise things they can't deliver... wake up people!

They believe that God has judged against it (bible), so they are just following his word.

And in this country you're free to be a bigot... you should return the favor.

Lee is right there!!!! Judge not lest ye be judged yourself and in the same manner you judge so shall ye be judged.

Ok I slipped from King James to NIV there but it's understandable.

Christians fail to remember that Jesus loved everyone.

How is two people that love each other, have the same feelings that you have for your wife, soiling the natural union between a man and a women?

How does letting man/man or women/women marry affect your everyday life?

God will judge them, and you, and me, the people of this country voted their conscious and you get mad because of the outcome, we might be a bunch of dumb redneck hillbillies but there are more of us and there are of you the outcome of these elections proves it

If they were truly following His word they would conduct themselves in accordance with the teachings of Jesus and think more about what those bracelets are supposed to remind them to do. WWJD

Many people believe that Bush didn't lie about the war in Iraq and even though I don't support him I also believed him... and I am educated. Many people like yourself believed Kerry would be a better President but the majority didn't. Lee I love reading your posts because they are very though out but today it just seemed like sour grapes. It's not fair to say that the majority of the American population is ignorant... but you are entitled to your opinion.

Under oath? How could you trust a man that repetedly under oath lied about sex?

You will say that this is no big deal but in fact it is. You personally supported One of only 2 presidents in our entire history that had to be impeached.

How would a man who chooses to exploit his children in the p*** business affect your everyday life? Is that ok? How far are we supposed to let our moral fortitude slide in order to be tolerant?

So should people kill the gays then, since it's wrong?
