Visited Jamaica Margaritaville this week..
We had a great time. The service was awesome. After a few drinks the bar tender gave us a few drinks on the house. Loved the pool bar. Sat in there for at least 2 hours. Anyone else been there? How was your experience if so?

Unfortunately, I was greatly dissapointed by the Ochos Rios M'ville the night I went. FANTASTIC place complete with water slide, pool, volleyball courts, etc. Only problem was, it was hip hop type night when we went. Only Jimmy or even Jimmyesque music we heard all night was in the gift shop. VERY DISSAPPOINTED!
I love Jamaica and will certainly return, but if there is one flaw, it's that the resorts, nice as they are, often times seem to jack guests around in being straight with them on how good the night life or alternative destinations are based on the day. You ask if Thurs night is a good night to go to M'ville to enjoy his music and maybe some volleyball and playtime in the water and they nod their head ABSOLUTELY. Get there and it's nothing like you were told. All they are interested, in IMHO, is getting their share of your overpriced taxi ride to and from.
The Montego Bay Airport location was 50x better than than Ochos Rios. At least there you get what you expect. Lots of Jimmy music, lots of Jimmy atmosphere.
I've enjoyed myself at each of the many other locations I have visited with Vegas being a favorite. Could be cuz it was my 30th bday and I had 14 of my best friends in the world with me.
FINS UP!

The M'ville at Negril was awesome. Its right on a quiet beach, and has a perfect setting. Its all open...no walls, really cool. The food was great, and so were the drinks. The music when I was down there was a guy playing Jimmy songs solo on guitar. I think later on in the night it turns into a dance club, but not too sure. You need to check out Ricks as well...the cliff diving is incredible!
Wishin' every month of the year could be June

Ocho Rios
Hi there
Stopping at Ocho Rios on a cruise next week. We've stayed in Ocho Rios 3 times prior so we've done the Falls and that kind of stuff. Those 3 times were all before M'ville was built there so the M'ville is our only destination on land that day.
Question - Do they have lockers there you can rent to stow your stuff if you want to go swimming ?
Tanks mon!

Stopped in Ocho Rios from our Celebrity Cruise.
Thank God and Jimmy for Margaritaville here. Was not impressed with Jamaica, and found refuge at Margaritaville for the day...50 yards from the ship.
Good place, good people, and Jimmy music (some)
Only annoying thing....the DJ, who blabbed on and on as opposed to letting the music play!

I was playing around trying to upload it to put under my screen name on the site, but could not figure out how to do it. I did not realize it uploaded. Any idea how (I am a computer idiot).
