Wifey-poo is working late tonight. I think I'll surprise her with some fettucini alfredo and a nice bottle of wine (maybe even something with a cork).

i hate planning meals. I can never figure out what to make. And how many times can you eat spaghetti or order pizza. If I ever became truly rich I would htink nothing of hiring a chef to do this for me.

You mean you don't go for the wine in a box with the plastic bag inside?

Homemade chicken vegetable soup, a mixed green salad, loaf of crusty bread and for dessert, poached pears with vanilla creme fraiche.

Ummm. Tonight is creamy rice and chicken in the crock pot served on biscuits.

I'm really anal about meal planning. We plan it out for every day of the week.

We do pork tenderloin a lot which is super-easy to grill. We make home-made mac n cheese, italian sausage sandwiches, tortellini/ravioli.

I'm very challeneged in the kitchen but I finally did figure out how to turn on the grill.

I've known women who wouldn't go for the sausage sandwich. And I'm not even Italian.
