Thank you all for the thoughts and well-wishes. Like I said, Bill is a friend of a friend - I really have only met him once. I checked in to see what if anything he needed, and have been told that he is fine as far as material things go. His 2 children are grown and out of the house, so they are fine in that regard also. I think if everyone just keeps the family in their thoughts, that's about all we can do at this point.
