You would know it if you had it. It is a member of the turnip family and is yellowish in color. It is bioled in cubes and some people (myself included) mash it and add bacon and onions. It is quite good actually.

A British friend told me recently that pumpkins do not grow very well in England so they have been known to carve rutabaga into jack-o-lanterns.
