It is with great pride and excitement, that Little Flock Music announces the release of a new DVD entitled, "Stars & Promises Alive - A Story of Christmas!"

"Stars & Promises Alive - A Story of Christmas" includes not only video concert footage from the Blair School of Music (Vanderbilt University), "Christmas in September," as recorded for the "Stars & Promises Alive" CD; but also exclusive interviews with Peter and Jim Mayer, photos from their childhood in India, behind the scenes rehearsal footage, an impromptu clip of "Lonely Broccoli," performed by Jim Mayer and Lilibeth (his bass), and thoughts about chocolate doughnuts by India Mayer.

Ring in this Christmas with a stellar group of musicians, assembled by Peter Mayer, and experience what brings the "Stars & Promises" Tour and this "Story of Christmas" Alive!

This DVD features Peter Mayer on guitars and vocals, Jim Mayer on acoustic and electric basses, Roger Guth on drums, R. Scott Bryan on percussion and vocals, Mark Holland on native flute and wind instruments, Vince Varvel on guitar, a trio of string players, bell players, a girls' choir and special guest artists Mac McAnally, Tina Gullickson and Brendan Mayer.

For anyone who has attended one of Peter's magical Christmas concerts, this is a reminder of that special event, which you can replay throughout the year. For those of you who haven't yet had the opportunity to witness the musical spirit of Christmas, as presented by Peter and friends, this DVD is the next best thing to being there!

THE DVD IS OUT!!!!!!!!

I was able to pick it up at the Nashville show. Still havent watched it all the way through, but what Ive seen is WAYYY TOO KEWL...Its got some EXCELLENT live footage from the show...well, a LOT of live footage...not the whole show, but its got about 1/2 to 3/4 of the Stars and Promises Alive album on it. But inserted into the songs and such are interviews and thoughts with Peter and Jim. And theres some neat before and after the show footage, and some really kewl footage from rehersals and stuph. Its GREAT!!! 8) :D :D
and Jimmy theres still so much to be done...

I got my dvd in the mail on Christmas Eve...I love it!!! My family attended the Stars and Promises concert here in Charlotte, loved it, and couldn't wait to see this reminder of how wonderful this music is! We took it to the "family Christmas" the next day and it got played alot by people other than me :D :D :D .
