A Salty Piece of Land and BHOTM

Post by lati2d »

I've heard A Salty Piece of Land several times now - I like it a lot. Am I the only one who thinks it sounds very much like Beach House on the Moon?

No your not alone. I like it and agree it sounds a lot like beach house on the moon. He started writing the book back in 2001 which is shortly after BHOTM was completed. I suspect he wrote the song some time ago and it was influenced by that album

I can see the resemblance being that it's mellow but I like it sooooo much better than BHOTM
