Well, the Cubs are supposed to resign Nomar and Todd Walker today. Yay!
Hendry's still gonna try to deal Sosa at the Anaheim meetings... but the Giambi and Bonds testimony leaks are scaring a few GMs away from a deal.
`How do you know I'm mad?' said Alice.
`You must be,' said the Cat, `or you wouldn't have come here.'

If you were a GM would you want Sammy after last year and the baggage and money his contract is carrying? I wouldn't.

It's official. Nomar just signed a 1 year deal worth 8 million.
Seeing that the Sox offered him 60 million dollars over 4 years I think he made a horrendous decision. I loved watching Nomar play out here in Boston so I truly hope he gets his career barck the way it was.
Good luck #5.

I turned the wrong burner of my stove on a couple of weeks ago and melted a plastic bag full of cat food to it....

Yeah, the only thing that smells worse than either burning plastic or burning pet food is burning pet food in plastic....
