The RANDY JOHNSON deal is DEAD!!!!!!!

The Dodgers have killed the deal that would have sent Randy Johnson to the Yankees.

It now appears a trade with the White Sox may happen, with Arizona receiving Paul Konerko, John Garland, and 2 top prospects.

Seeing the Yankees not get something always makes me a little happy. Like watching the rich kid in high school get beat up. Ah, good times. :D

Awwwwww..... That's too bad... So what does that mean? Will Georgie Porgie offer Beltran the 10 year $200 million dollar contract that he's lookin' for just because he's p*** off?

This is awesome, but I have a feeling that NY will still end up with Unit. He'd be out-of-his-mind crazy to allow a trade to the CWS! :x

I can understand being happy to get rid of Sosa, but why would you want Cliff Floyd? He's injured all the time and he's like a statue in left field.

Because Cliff Floyd has never hurt his back sneezing, been accused of steriod use, missed a month with toenail fungus, been caught using a corked bat or QUIT ON HIS TEAM!!!!!

RIGHT ON!!!

As I've said before, I'd be willing to trade Sosa for Gatorade... if they actually get a live human being in return for Sosa, that's fine with me!

Ugh, now I know how the Sox fans felt during the whole Arod thing last year, I think Johnsons still ends up with the yanks but who the hell knows anymore.

Lets put it this way, most all Red Sox fans wanted that trade to go through (to toot my own horn I was against the trade from the start, I thought Boston was giving up way to much) and when it fell apart everyone was upset........10 months later everyone is happy John Henry was frugle at the right time. I am 99.99999999% sure the Red Sox don't win the World Series if they traded for ARod!

Motto of the story, be careful of what you wish for.

Personally I agreed with you at the time. I hate the Sox but I too felt that
Magglio and AROD would not be an upgrade from Manny and Nomar. I just dont see how Johnson to the Yankees could not be good for them. Obviously for them money is not an object so even if he gets hurt we wouldnt be any worse off then we are now.
