It does not have much info about why and I can't seem to find it anywhere else. I will post anything else I find out. Hopefully it is nothing major.

“He did have a minor stroke and he’s in the hospital for that reason but he’ll be fine,” spokeswoman Amy Streibel told Reuters.

Reportedly he will miss New Year's Eve in Times Square.

Just hit googlenews and the story hit most of the news outlets about 20 minutes ago. Hope he's ok-he is just sort of ageless and I count on him being around!

Dick Clark Recovering From Mild Stroke

Dick Clark is recovering in a Los Angeles hospital after suffering from a stroke on Monday (Dec. 6). A spokesman for Clark tells Billboard.com that the legendary television personality "is going to be fine." Clark, who turned 75 on Nov. 30, is perhaps best known for producing and hosting "American Bandstand" and his annual New Year's Eve show on ABC.

When asked if the television icon will recover in time for the "Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve" show set to air live Dec. 31 on ABC, his spokesperson said, "We hope so. That depends on what the doctors say." Earlier this year Clark revealed that he has had Type 2 diabetes for the past 10 years.

Clark is also an executive producer of the annual American Music Awards, Golden Globe Awards and the Academy of Country Music Awards. He also executive produces NBC's "American Dreams" drama series, which takes place in the 1960s and uses the "American Bandstand" show as the setting for many of its scenes.

Earlier this year, Clark announced plans to revive "American Bandstand" with "American Idol" creator Simon Fuller.

Reckon they've done the same thing to Jackson Browne? He doesn't seem to have changed much over the years either.
