I'll probably have to stick with white. For some reason it runs in my mind I had another recipe once that called for Vidalia onions but I couldn't find any and went with white ones. I have a salad recipe she sent that will have everyone raving..but it is a pain to make......The onion casserole is really , really good!!
They suggest Vidalia onions as they have more sugar and therefore sweeter, but I have used White Onions....They work too...

Just looks like a regular onion...Light brown skin...To store them you have to individually wrap them in paper towels and put in the hydrator..(or "the rotter" as we call it here..anything that goes in there, rots"..)buffettbride wrote:I'll probably have to stick with white.
