Mature, hot, stoves have that special "hum" about them. The more meals you cook, the hotter (and better) they get.

it is in the 60's so I let the stove burn out. Is is no longer hot.

My aunts have this really kewl stove...its like a black piece of glass that heats up...and man it works fast and very very well!!! :o :D :D :D :D

Our stove is pretty old, but it works like a charm still!!! :P
