Who is this member of the CRB?
I was watching this clip of SOASOAS from SNL in 1977 I believe, and I couldn't figure it out.
Thanks in advance.

I'm guessing Tim Krekel. There's some vintage shots of him under the Gallery section of his web site if you wanna compare and contrast:

While I'm at it, I'll highly recommend his latest album
Happy Town.

I think you are correct, but hard to tell.
Great suggestion on Happy Town; my personal favorite of his is Perfect World.

And you're right there in Kentucky too! That is where Tim K. is from. You can prolly catch him playing; he plays all around Kentucky.
Found this on his web site.
Tim played on the Son of a Son of a Sailor album and appeared with him on Saturday Night Live, as well as in the 1978 film, FM. They also toured with the Eagles who were enjoying immense popularity at that time.
Dang,
Perfect World isn't even available anymore. Glad I have the cassette. I really enjoyed when Tim K and Marshall Chapman joined Jimmy for the tour in 1996.

I picked up Happy Town from the FREE table at my local radio station. Nice to find one of my favorites.
Jahfin, I know you are somewhere in NC. Did you see Tim is playing The Cave in Chapel Hill this week with Mad Tea Party, a group his son is in?
