Ya know... when I first heard the news earlier today, the first thing I thought of was... well damn, another memory from my childhood slips away with the resceding tide

The second thing I thought of (immediately) was if anyone had Johnny for the Derby

For those of us old enough to live through Watergate, absolutely we know who she is/was. Nixon's notorious secretary who was famous for claiming to be responsible for the 18 second gap in one of the Watergate tapes.

and I knew when I typed it that my 18 second gap comment was wrong---Rose Mary Wood had the audacity to claim that while she was on the phone, she accidentally erased 18 minutes of one of Nixon's tapes.
