Post by LesPaul30 »

I must have missed a meeting, but I don't recall hearing about the opening of a CIP in NJ, but the site says so......

Anyone else miss this?

Cheeseburger in Secaucus, NJ. I headed over there after work. Small setup, but cozy. Large drink menu, cheeseburger was perfect, and the key lime pie was a great topper to the night. Stayed around a bit in hopes of Jimmy poking his head in, but never showed. Parrotbeach (cover band) was setting up to play. I have seen them a doz. times and never left dissappointed. The rest. is right around the corner from the Pier 1 Imports and right before Outback on the right hand side.

i went for dinner as well. i agree that the cheeseburger was perfect. the carnivorous habits appetizer (wings, ribs, mini cheeseburgers) was great as well. we had the desserted island dessert. chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream, chocolate ice cream and chocolate sauce swimming in chocolate sauce. 4 of us had appetizers, dinner, drinks, and dessert for around $30 a piece. very good food for the price. i am still stuffed. we also lingered a little longer hoping that bubba would pop in, but unfortunately he did not. still a great time and i highly recommend it.
I've collected a small fortune...

Just a 30 min drive for me. Turn to the right of Hoffa's final resting place and you are there.

Oh, absotootly! A phlocking is TOTALLY in order now!

After I typed my response, I thought about how many peeps are within driving (or training) distance and the same phlocking thought came to mind. I just waited to see who else would chime in.

I have only one requirement....it has to be on a Sunday as hubby works EVERY Saturday night bartending. Besides...is there anything better to do on a Sunday than drink margs and eat burgers? :D

Lemme know when yawl want to go and we'll set a date!

And Mr. Jim...nice to see ya sweety! :P

Me, too! Me, too!

(Although I've already been there - see other Secaucus thread. As others said, it's small, but nice.)

BTT

Most Sundays work for me. I play guitar at Church every Sunday and don't get out until 1:00 pm, so if we can meet after 2, if would be great, if that's ok with everyone else.

We're headin to good ol' Secaucus this Saturday to see Parrotbeach (they played our wedding! :D We figured we'd make an exotic weekend out of the situation and are staying at the Hampton Inn in Secaucus after a night out at CIP!
Hope to see a good crowd there!!
