I was there a few years ago. The island is basically split down the middle. One side the water is nice a calm and that's where the resorts and casinos are. There is a real small "town" I guess you would call it. The biggest club is basically next to the parliament building. Rent a tracker/jeep and go 4 wheelin on the otehr side of the island. Nothing like seeing wild donkeys and a coast line. Drive to the church at the top of the hill, people will know what you are talking about if you ask. You can see most of the island from there. I went for a wedding and has a blast. The wedding was for one a friend who grew up there. I got wasted with the prime minister. I think the place her family owned was the LaCabana Resort and Casino.

Went to Aruba four years ago on my honeymoon and we loved it. The Jeep thing is a must.....we took a Jeep tour (through DePalms Tours) that included a Jeep tour of the entire island, lunch, and snorkeling. Not sure where you're staying, but there are lots of good restuarants and bars in Oranjestaad--I recommend Boonoonoonoo's for authentic Aruban/Caribbean food.

I could go on and on probably--if you want more info or have specific questions, PM me. :D
