Must be cowbell day in the southeast. As soon as I got in the truck to drive home from work, Couldn't Get It Right from Climax Blues Band came on.

also I was watching King of the Hill last night and Bobby and Peggy
were doing the school announcments thing and Peggy
had a cowbell That was what I first thought of when

Interesting. I've always loved that skit but I didn't know that bands really used cowbell. And I definitely didn't realize that it was in so many songs.
On a side note... Cowbells are sold at our highschool football games. It's like our thing. If our team does anything good everybody in the stands starts ringing these red cowbells.

Then you mean that we're not making classic rock when someone scores the touchdown, the hs band plays Louie Louie and we all ring our cowbells. Damn. I was thinking about this record producer I know and was going to give him a call..
