Yeah, I like the original much better also. I really liked his cut of "I'm On Fire" though.a1aara wrote: KC's version of "Come Monday" is not very good. He should have left the classic alone. Never heard him CIP.

"pss...Kenny Chesney lives in the Islands for 3 months of the year for about the past 5 or 6 years. He knows the scenery quite well. More so than the majority of people on this board.
And you're way too late on this one! He's already covered "Come Monday" on a CD and covers "Cheeseburger In Paradise" during his live shows.don juan wrote:Don Juan say's"And I hope Kenny Cheeseny never ever does one of Buffetts songs!![]()

Hey, I agree, yep, the whole dang CD.
When I purchased it for my wife yesterday morning, I let her listen to it once last night, but I have kept it. Really, the damn thing just kind of grows on you, Island Boy, Key Lime Pie, and the one song, Boston. The last really big vacation we took with the whole family was Cancun. Well at night there was this slim little teacher lady that would dance around the lobby of this big hotel, no doubt under the influence of sometype of mind altering substance or beverage.
But in any event, she just danced the night away. When I first heard the song Boston kind of made me go back to those warm days in Cancun, rather than this dark winter day here in Indianapolis.
So like Mr. Buffett said, "TIME FOR A CHANGE, TIRED OF THE SAME OLD SAME." The release of the CD by KC made me perk up a little and think about past fun times.
NOW IS ALL I HAVE TO DO IS FIND THE REST OF MY KEY LIME PIE SO I CAN GO SIT IN THAT OLD BLUE CHAIR, GREAT SONGS.

Question: "And now Kenny Chesney has recorded a beach album." Jimmy's Answer: "It's flattering. Some people say I should be p*** off about it but I'm really not. It's the highest form of flattery, and I'm fine with it."
