Juan my sig dosn't say anything about you being an a**hole. To be perfectly honest with you - you did follow the genre of several other people who come onto the boards relatively new and just start crap for the sake of starting crap. And sometimes on a message board it's hard to tell if someone's jokeing expecially if that person is new and you haven't had time to get to know their personality. Please realize a lot of us here personally know each other - we have literally traveled accross the country to meet and play with each other and we stand up for each other. I suggest you get to know a few people around here - the majority of the people are really good folks.

Don Juan...
Perhaps before you post any more insults to board members you might want to review this thread: http://www.buffettnews.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=16617

Your comments to 12Volt were way out of line...and certainly didn't appear to be a "joke" to me.

Let's keep it civil, please. And when all else fails, agree to disagree and move on. Liking Kenny Chesney does not make anyone here less of a parrothead.

phforever browneyed girl

Point taken it is just not cool to call people ignorant and whatever if you can't take what you dish out.

BEG I would remind you as moderator that if I crossed the line with my comments then so did redneckph when he added a flashing a**hole sign directed at me and also ph4ever when he said "don juan has homo erotic fantasies"Both violated the rules that you were so kind to direct me too. It was twelve volt's rave that started all this calling me ignorant

The rules do apply to all equally don't they?

People in glass houses and all that. Still its great to see friends stick together like a school of LAND SHARKS!

Loyalty is a great quality!

Maybe soon we will all swim together :D

And there is a little instigator in me to be honest
Still, no anger or ill will here hope you guys feel the same

forgiveness is a great quality too! :( :-? :D

As far as I'm concerned its over what do you say?

12 volt

This is serious I am sorry I do not question you personally it just brought back bar brawl memorys of red necks back in my home town and other hole in the walls I have been to.

Kenny is alright in his own way and I did not mean to come into a group of friends and start trouble.

I sincerely apologize I took it too far with the gay thing it was chessey and inmature

An overreaction on my part. Which I can not change but do apologize for.

oreos ????
I hope that all the greedy bastards in the world
Come back as lobsters.
You know that life at the bottom of the food chain
Suits them well.
I think that all of the evil people of the world
Come back as horseflies,
They want one last bite before they're sent to hell.

OK I know I'll probably be crucified here for saying this but those of you that know me, know that I speak my mind.

The thing that drew me to Buffett's music years ago was that it transformed me to the feeling that I received as a child going to the Louisiana and Texas Gulf Coast. Since childhood, ocean breeze, seagulls and salt mist have been a fingerprint to my soul. A costal visit has always healed my mind, body and soul. Buffett's music has been my "mental" costal visit for years.

IMHO the last time Buffett put out new material that "transformed" me to that mental state was FSOTW. MMIM was great however it was basically a greatest hits cd. Lots of GREAT stuff but not much new. LTC just didn't take me there. This cd of Chesney's takes me there. I can mentally transform myself back to the sand, sun and healing of the coast. And it dosn't matter who the performer is - it could have been Barney the Dinosaur performing these songs - it just did it for me.

As long as you're only gushing inside, that's OK. We don't want to have to clean up the mess.

Well said. That is exactly how I feel when people tell me they don't like Buffett songs. Some people GET it, some don't.

I can't stand mainstream country music. It's the devil's seed, the Anti-Christ if Johnny Cash was Jesus.

However, I like this album very much. Am I sick?
