Margaritaville no longer a state of mind???

Now with Jimmy Buffett acquiring an island, could Margaritaville actually exist in physical form? My guess is that, within about 10 years time, James will turn his island into THE Magaritaville. At least the is what I would want to do if I were him. I think it would be a big hit if he were to turn his island into Margaritaville. -- I know I will be one of the first ones to vacation there. ....Wait a second, heck, I will be one of the first ones to live there.

Although it would be a blast, I imagine Jimmy would want to use his Island for him.

i'm with buffettbride on this one. although buffett is a great businessman and a very outgoing performer, i think he is a much more personal man than he comes across. i would be he will use it for his own private getaway rather than turn it into some resort.

I get the feeling that if Buffett really did create a real world Margaritaville then he'd be able to buy as many islands as he'd like with the profits
