well there seem to be an awful lot of muslims who know less about their own religion than you and I.i know what the teachings are but there are quite a few who have their own interpretation.and it's more than just a few extremists.

Great people...and the people on the other side were Rastas..

Cookouts in that neighborhood were a sight.

My point is that the media will never show you the wonderful family in Pakistan, or the woman in Algeria, or the teenager in Gaza, who happens to be Muslim, but who harbours no anti-American sentiment whatsoever. It just wouldn't be newsworthy.

and i'm not under the impression that ALL muslims want to kill americans,my point is that an alarmingly high percentage of them do in comparison to other groups.and it is a high enough percentage to make me distrust them in general.
if i routinely turned on the news or opened the paper and saw italians killing americans with suicide bombers i would be distrustful of my own family

AS much as I am not the biggest fan of Bush - I would have never expected him to rush out and drop money. You have to assess, plan, organize - I imagine this is one of the hardest things EVER to do since nothing on this level has ever happened before. All the roads are gone - airstrips are gone - some countries were in civil war... I couldn'teven fathom where to begin but I know the US did some things right away - I am really getting tired of the media - they seem to be the ones who constantly fuel one comment and make it an issue. We are a giving country and I hope that they focus more on the help getting there instead of it not

on the news tonight is that private donations here in Australia have passed the $100 million mark .....

The amazing thing - is our population is 18 million approx .. not a bad effort!

Proud that we are supporting this in such a good hearted way!

(and that does not count the govt or corporate contributions and donations in kind).
