Like some others here, I've always been partial to his work with Them and the best of his solo stuff like the also oft-mentioned "Into the Mystic". As much as I like "Brown Eyed Girl" and "Domino", classic rock radio have played them into the ground. One of my favorites has always been "Wavelength". Maybe not essential Van but one worth checking out when you get around to it.

I enjoy "Avalon Sunset". Morrisons version of "Have I Told You Lately That I Love You" is so much better than Rod Stewarts.

I saw Rod sing that song to Rachel on the unplugged tour...

Tears in my eyes.. I do like Vans Version but Rod does bring that song from the heart.

Did Ron Wood play on that at all? Or was he just for the MTV version?

Truth to tell I had a .. Date and spent more time looking at her than the stage I'm not remembering the Bass player seems they were all young guys but....... like I said I moved to Idaho 9-10 years back and that was before that.. also seen a lot of shows since then I remember like 4 songs

Lets put it this way about the young lady I was with.. there were guys in the crowd that were Still checking her out after Rachel came on stage.. :pirate:
