Is tailgating allowed in your parking lot?
If your definition of "tailgating" is drinking alcoholic beverages, then it is not allowed. Guests using grills or having picnics in the parking area create a safety concern and disrupt foot and auto traffic flow.

Hey everyone!

It's been a while, but I'm back!

I am starting to worry that the great pre concert festivities that usually occur will be hindered by this No Tailgateing garbage. There has to be a parking lot or something adjacent/across the street. Someone please let us know our options.. being a state fairgrounds I am concerned.

like I said on another site...... I really hope they are not THAT strict!!!
and if Bank of America didn'twork on a Saturday (our oly tenant) = my boss would have probab ly let us use the parking lot where he owns the building - it is perfect.. 850 parking spaces... right on the lake.... there is also a big open field we did not do anything with yet and they just cut the grass.... hmmmmmmm THe fairgrounds are the perfect spot... but this would be a good plan B.... maybe I will do a "hypothetcial" with him... you never know!

That's cool! Its always good to have a plan B, just in case!!!

YEA!! Just heard from someone that has been to the ford amp. in Tampa and there was tailgating at that concert !! SO will we!! Yea! It's so great to meet and party pre concert!!!!

hey BEG! just let me know if someone needs 2 tix. i have gotten several resposes from my "ticket exchange" post....but they are all 1 posters. can't help but think they're scalpers. don't want my tix to go to a scalper.

I think we're covered now...Connie got a ticket and I believe there is one for Kev as well, should have confirmation of that soon. So if ya get a bite you think is worth taking, go for it. It is always difficult to know if the newbie posters over in tic exchange are scalpers or people truly looking for a ticket.

Les and I are trying to have a party at our place Friday night - we were just going to go to the fairground s the day of concert and start tailgating there..... just not sure how many people would come Friday - so if you are planning on coming - give me a heads up so I have an idea!! I think it would be alot of fun! So far Honeysucklevine and PokeyBush are the only ones who are confirmed for a Friday night pre-concert party.

No, no kidding around, no setting up any "surprises".... my boss told me yesterday that we're likely to be gone from Feb 19th through the 27th....
