is there a cover charge for this? the reason i'm asking is because i recieved a e-mail from someone trying to sell me a lawn ticket w/ free entrance to the TBPH party.i saw the same ad also but it doesn't show of any cover charge.i'm wondering if this person that e-mailed me was running a scam.how he got my e-mail is yes i'm looking for a ticket and i did post on the ticket exchange looking for oneand my e-mail address is listed.

posted this in the Les and Megan thread as well...if you are in town and want something to do Friday afternoon...it'll be PH's only aboard...
Can I throw this idea out there? How about starting out the afternoon with a cruise around Boca Ciega Bay? I have access to this boat, and if we can get somewhere between 40-50 that want to go, it would cost around a Jackson per for 2 hours, and if we get more, could come down a bit. It's also equipped with a full bar and depending if there is enough interest, could be very reasonable..Location is directly across from St. Pete Beach. The details depend on interest...

i few things i'd like to know if anyone can answer them.
1.) since there is tailgating, are grills allowed?
2.) we are staying at the baymont. is this really right across the street ? if so i won't need my car.
see, hubby has to break from our vaca to attend a mtg in detroit
. he doesn't fly in until 4pm. i have to pick him up. i thought if i didn't need the car to get to the venue, i could go to the lot, meet up & party with everyone. then go pick him up. if i need the car, i can't go to the lot before 4.
can anyone help with this since i don't know the area.

OK - Here it is. Get your tailgate machines in gear and get ready to party with us all day - concert day! The following is the current info on everything we have planned. Over the next two weeks there is going to be a lot of radio promotion on this event on WQYK - 99.5 FM, Thunder 103.5 and WYUU 92.5. There are also going to be 3 (that I am aware of) articles in the Tampa Tribune and St. Petersburg Times as well as some ads in the Friday Extras. Over 10,000 Parrot Heads are expected to attend!
The set-up for the TAMPA BAY PARROT HEADS HISTORIC TAILGATE PARTY is going to be awesome. WQYK is bringing their 80' Pirate Ship that they set up on land. Margaritaville Tequila will have a 15" Tiki Hut to introduce their new Tequila flavors. The music is going to be great and a fun time will certainly be had by all. that sounds like a cool party , considering i'll be coming in from orlando after my morning golf.it won't be easy to tailgate especially when i'm coming solo and with a rental car.so grills and other stuff could be tough. except a cooler ( if i can find one) of corona.so the above alternative sounds pretty cool.
now for the hard part , getting a ticket for the show. i wonder if they will put some tickets on sale the day of the show( returns).unless i find one on the ticket exchange other than lawns and the 300 sections.
