I've added a car alarm with remote door locks, a duel air horn and a grill for the airscoop.

With respect to aftermarket accessories, don't expect to to get your money back out of them, or think that they will increase the value of the vehicle.

True, I didn't figure them into the price but I figure if my car is priced the same as another similar Miata the extras would make mine a more attractive purchase.

Should I bite the bullet and get new tires? They're not bald, just close to the wear bars.

I generally avoid buying tires, until such time as the currnet ones emit sparks when coming in contact with the asphalt

As for whether it would make yours more attractive to potential buyers, I dont think new tires would raise the value, but they would eliminate a point that the buyer could use to try to get you to come down on your price.
