I thought i read on here somewhere, that there was something going on at Sloppy Joe's Friday night? I'll be arriving friday night,,,think i am going there first, If its not too crazy at the Holiday in Anyone else planning on meeting elsewhere Friday??

I just called the Sloppy Joe's in Ft. Lauderdale and they don't have anything out of the ordinary going on there on Friday, Feb. 18th. They just have their usual reggae band until 10 and then their DJ on after that for the disco and hip hop tunes. Tonight they're having a benefit of some sort and auctioning off some of their bar staff but that's it.

Thanks Miss Monday for all your help....guess we'll just have to party at the hotel instead,,,, OH DARN Can't wait to see everyone this weekend..looking forward to meeting everyone.

- Hooray for Miss Monday- helping us northeast parrotheads with a place to phlock to for the Fort Lauderdale show. Counting the HOURS until I begin my road trip to sunshine... Looking forward to meeting many new friends..... I hope the Holiday Inn has a large bar....Yahoo!

Maybe we should make a roll call list on the main page if there is not one already??? So is everyone pretty much heading to the holiday inn? We have to meet up at some point... anyone else arriving Friday

Me and my friend are leaving NC sat moring Flying in around 9:30 AM. WIll be at my sisters who lives in Plantation.. Real close to the airport and the venue. Sure do wish we had those Lanyards so we would be able to easier to meet people. Would love to meet some of you guys to make conversating in the future really cool to put a name with a face. I wont hav my cell on since I will be out of state. So who is goign to the holiday inn?

I was starting to wonder, all this planning and you were going to duck out last minute,,,good to hear you are back in game plan!! Should we start a HOliday Inn post see who will be attending, we should do it soon if so before all the planes trains and automobiles are on their way to sunshine state....still looking to be about 76 WOO HOO,,,

BAJA!!! No way I'm missing this show- going straight to the hotel from the train station- cocktail in hand- perhaps we should all make name tags with our screen names and wear them for the pre party.....

SOUNDS GOOD TO ME,,I tried to order my lanyard and tag but wasnt quick enough But I think if you dont have your lanyards defintly wear a bright name tag with our screen names,,,great idea..we should be arriving between 4 - 5:00 on Friday,,cocktails in hand

I'm at the Holiday Inn too. Arriving Thu late afternoon. How about any BNers that want to get together Fri night meet in the area of the Holiday Inn checkinn desk abound 7 p.m. ? Look for the people dressed real funny. The local parriothead club is doing stuff at the HI (pool area ??) Fri night, so there sould be a number of phun people around.

I just agreed to housesit for my friend Debbie who is going to Ireland - she lives in Coconut Creek and it is this weekend - I will have my kids the whole time so I am thinking about hanging out with my old club - the Barefoot Children.... I just better check that its OK to bring the keets!! I have Friday and Monday off WOOO HOOO!!

SOunds great, we will be there friday night,,,front desk of the Holiday inn at 7:00...I'll make some kind of name tag so we are sure to be found, if the crazy outfits and cocktails dont give us a way.

this is from the barefoot childrens website,,,an itinerary for friday at the Holiday Inn that they are hosting.

FRIDAY: If you're coming in on Friday night we're starting the party early. The Barefoot Children of Ft. Lauderdale will be chillin' by the pool at the Holiday Inn starting around 6:00 p.m. There'll be tunes, Cheeseburgers in Paradise along with hot dogs and chicken with all the traditional salads and fixins' on the menu, drinks specials plus a raffle of all sorts of cool parrotphanalia.

My son's birthday party is the afternoon of the concert...y'all are more than invited...if you're interested pm me..
